WIMBLEDON FARMERS MARKET CELEBRATES 25 YEARS!
A celebration took place on 10th May with birthday cake from Cakehole and current buns from Bread Bread. We were joined by Radhika Howarth, London-based author, TV chef, and culinary storyteller who offered samples of food from her book Flavours Without Borders: 80 Recipes Connecting Cultures and Cuisines, for tasting. Our ward councillors and MP joined us for the cutting of the Wimbledon Birthday Cake and the announcement of the winner of the guess the weight competition with a lucky prize of market produce and a signed copy of Radhika's book.
Thanks to all our customers old and new who joined us for the event.
