Ciprian has been keeping bees almost all of his life. Raised in Romania, he was taught bee keeping by his grandparents. When he came to England to work, he missed his bees and started to keep them himself, bringing over bee hives and bees from Romania. He keeps his bees in a little woodland enclave at the side of a field near Chelmsford in Essex, surrounded by fields of borage, rape, lime trees and horse chestnut. His bees produce a delicious range of honey, changing with the seasons from delicate forest flower to deep dark horse chestnut. Look out for their very special honeycomb in a jar, built up the bees!
