Michael Dallaway grows cherries at four different sites on the Kent/ East Sussex border. He sets his standards extremely high and only picks the cherries when they are fully ripened so that each and every cherry is a truly mouth watering experience. Come and find the stall to try some of the best cherries you will ever have eaten…… During the 5 weeks of the cherry season Michael will bring over 15 different varieties for you to be able to try at selected markets.
Michael also welcomes his customers to come and visit the orchards in the Summer months, to pick up some cherries or to have a picnic. He runs a cherry tree rental scheme at his orchard at Northiam, in East Sussex. We highly recommend the delights of picking your own cherries when they are ripe in the summer. The other orchards are in Sandhurst, Kent.
Do try Michael's delicious cherry juice made with approximately 3kgs of pressed cherries per litre with no added sugar or water.
